All Saints' Day 2017

Our little saints were very excited for the upcoming feast day!  Magdalene originally wanted to be St. Therese, but she has this beautiful princess dress that would only fit for one more year so she decided to be St. Elizabeth of Hungary.  She made her crown too!

Well Tobias....what can I say...he is brave?!  He has been learning about St. Anthony of Padua for almost one year now.  I was happy to see him dressed up as St. Anthony, the patron of the church I was baptized in and received my first Holy Communion.  Plus....he sure made a cute St. Anthony.

Yes, he wanted to cut his hair like St. Anthony.

I think Philomena's costume had my heart in it.  I love Our Lady of Fatima....and I spent time studying the veil of the Pilgrim Virgin statue that visited our church back in September.  The crown on Philomena's was the crown I gave Jordan the night before we got married.  I wrote him a note about how he would be the king of our household (something like that), and my sweet sister dropped off the crown and note at night....I think in the middle of some kind of rain.

"I wove tools.  I wove Mary.  I wove Jesus."  Theodore was practicing his lines preparing for St. Joseph the Worker.  I never thought he would say those lines in front of others, but it sure was cute to hear him saying it at home.
